Job Details
Donswift Company Ltd is hiring an Accountant on a full-time basis. The role is based at Aston Mall, Level 3, No. 8, Ntinda, Kiwatule Road, Kampala, within the baking ingredients sector. The accountant will prepare financial reports and budgets, ensure tax and EFRIS compliance, coordinate audits, and monitor inventory, cash flow and profitability to support business decisions. Base salary not disclosed. Work hours: 8 hours.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets and management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax obligations, EFRIS requirements and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Monitor inventory, cash flow, customer accounts and profitability, providing financial insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field, with at least CPA Level II.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience with practical knowledge of tax compliance, EFRIS, budgeting, payroll and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
