Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead branch staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly loan disbursement and collection targets.
• Maintain and analyze disbursement and collections reports, implementing targeted interventions for staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with lending processes, including origination, appraisal, approval, and monitoring.
• Conduct field visits to clients and key stakeholders within the branch coverage area.
• Chair loan committees, oversee disbursement meetings, and ensure complete loan documentation.
• Recruit, train, and coach Loan Officers to maintain a high-quality loan portfolio.
• Manage staff performance through appraisals, remediation plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Work Experience

• Educational Attainment: Degree in a relevant field (Bachelor's Degree)
• Minimum Experience: 2 years (24 months) in a similar role, preferably in a financial institution
• Area of Expertise: Knowledge of Agricultural Finance Loans
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
