Job Details

NADO-U is an independent body established under the National Sports Act, 2023 (as amended), mandated to promote clean sport, protect athletes and uphold the integrity of sport in Uganda. The Chaperone will assist in athlete notification and escorting during doping control missions, ensure that athletes are properly informed about testing procedures and remain under observation until the sample collection process is completed. This is a contract position on field basis, based at P.O. Box 782, Plot 97/99, 3rd Street, Industrial Area, Kampala with field deployment. Work hours: 8 hours. Salary: Not Disclosed. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Notifying and escorting athletes selected for testing to Doping Control station in accordance with NADO-U guidelines
• Ensuring athletes understand their rights and responsibilities during sample collection
• Assisting Doping Control Officers in documentation and athlete handling procedures
• Reporting any issues, refusals, or delays during athlete escort
• Supporting awareness and education activities where applicable

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Diploma in any academic field from a recognized institution or University OR O' Level Certificate with Certificate of training as Anti-Doping Chaperone
• Experience in anti-doping activities or as an athlete is an added advantage
• Minimum experience of 12 months (1 year)
• Level of Education: Associate Degree / Diploma
