Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect construction quality and workmanship
- Verify works against architectural, structural and MEP drawings
- Identify and report defects
- Witness material tests
- Maintain daily site records and photographic progress reports
- Support valuation of completed works
- Monitor environmental, health and safety compliance
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building Economics, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- 5–10 years' experience as a Clerk of Works, Site Inspector or Site Supervisor on medium to large projects
- Strong knowledge of building codes, structural standards and safety legislation
- Competence in CAD/BIM systems
- Excellent attention to detail, integrity, strong technical reporting ability, firm but professional contractor management
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel or site reporting tools
