Quest Digital Finance Limited (QDF), a Kampala-based fintech digitising SACCOs, VSLAs and farmer groups across Uganda, is seeking a Credit Officer / Financial Inclusion on a Full Time basis. The role will grow a healthy credit book across SACCOs and groups and expand financial inclusion for underserved members, working closely with Finance & Administration and Technology teams. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive credit uptake among SACCOs and groups; appraise, approve and disburse loans in line with QDF's credit policy
• Monitor portfolio quality (repayment, arrears, PAR) and lead recovery on delinquent accounts
• Work with the Finance & Administration team on disbursements, approvals and risk controls
• Work with the Technology team on AI/ML models that support credit scoring and derisking of Quest loans
• Champion financial inclusion, expanding real credit access for underserved SACCOs, groups and members

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years in credit management, microfinance or financial inclusion, ideally within a VSLA, SACCO, MFI or fintech
• Hands-on experience in loan appraisal, disbursement and arrears/portfolio management
• Working knowledge of SACCO/VSLA operations in Uganda; exposure to credit scoring or data-driven lending is a plus
• Strong judgement, integrity and attention to detail; comfortable collaborating with Finance and Technology teams
