Credit Officers - Group lending Scheme

Dolomite Financial Services Limited Mubende Branch is seeking highly motivated Credit Officers for its Group Lending Scheme to be based in Mubende. The role is full-time (8 hours per day) and involves mobilization, appraisal and management of group-based microcredit clients. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Mobilize, form and train client groups for the group lending scheme
• Appraise loan applications, conduct field assessments and recommend credit decisions
• Disburse loans, monitor utilisation and follow up on repayments and collections
• Maintain group records, portfolio quality and timely reporting
• Provide financial literacy and customer service to group members and ensure compliance with credit policies

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Education, Accounting, Marketing, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Social Work, Statistics, Microfinance, Commerce, IT or any other related field
• 2 to 3 years experience in credit is an added advantage
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience indicated
• Strong field work, mobilisation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with low-income groups and manage group dynamics
