Job Summary

The Digital Skills Instructor will plan and deliver engaging technology learning experiences for children aged 6–18. The successful candidate will also contribute to curriculum development, learner engagement, programme delivery, and the continued growth of NCS.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging digital skills lessons for children and young people.
• Facilitate introductory sessions in coding, digital literacy, robotics, and AI awareness.
• Prepare lesson plans and learning materials.
• Support holiday programmes, weekend academies, and school outreach activities.
• Encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving among learners.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist in developing new learning content and activities.
• Help maintain training equipment and learning spaces.
• Represent NCS professionally during events and partnerships.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

✅ Required Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).

🎓 Encouraged Applicants:

• Final-year students expecting to graduate soon.
• Recent graduates (0–2 years of experience).

• An excellent communicator.
• Comfortable speaking before groups.

Desirable Experience

• Coding or robotics clubs.
• Teaching or mentoring children.
• Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS, or JavaScript.
• LEGO Education, Arduino, or micro:bit.
• Digital design or creative media.
• Artificial intelligence tools.
• Community volunteering or youth programmes.

Formal teaching experience is not mandatory.
