The National Anti-Doping Organization Uganda (NADO-U) is seeking an Education Officer to develop, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate evidence-based clean sport education and awareness programmes in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standard for Education. Duty station is Plot 97/99, 3rd Street, Industrial Area, Kampala. Employment Type: Full-time. Work Hours: 8 hours. NADO-U is an independent body established under the National Sports Act, 2023 (as amended).
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate evidence-based clean sport education and awareness programmes in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standard for Education.
- Plan and conduct anti-doping education and awareness programs across various sports disciplines.
- Support development of content for e-learning platforms and outreach campaigns.
- Promote anti-doping values, ethics and the spirit of fair play in sports.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Honours Bachelor's Degree in Education (Sports/Physical Education), Sports Science, Public Health or Curriculum Development from a recognised institution.
- Practical experience in anti-doping programmes or as an athlete is an added advantage.
