Job Details
NADO-U is an independent body established under the National Sports Act, 2023 (as amended), mandated to promote clean sport, protect athletes and uphold the integrity of sport in Uganda. The Educators will create awareness and educate athletes, coaches and support personnel about dangers of doping, ethical conduct in sports and compliance with anti-doping regulations. This is a contract position on field basis, based at P.O. Box 782, Plot 97/99, 3rd Street, Industrial Area, Kampala with field deployment. Work hours: 8 hours. Salary: Not Disclosed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct anti-doping education and awareness programs across various sports disciplines
- Support the development of content for e-learning platforms and outreach campaigns
- Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of education program effectiveness
- Promote anti-doping values, ethics, and the spirit of fair play in sports
- Support communication and advocacy initiatives to promote clean sport culture
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Honours Bachelor's Degree in Education (Sports/Physical Education), Sports Science, Public Health or Curriculum Development from a recognised institution
- Practical experience in anti-doping programmes or as an athlete is an added advantage
- Minimum experience of 12 months (1 year)
- Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree
