- Role Summary: Ensure EHS legal compliance and governance across manufacturing/industrial operations, leading inspections, risk assessments, incident management, safety committees, health surveillance, emergency planning and environmental compliance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure EHS legal compliance and governance in line with OSH Act Cap 231 (as amended 2025) and National Environment Act Cap 181.
- Lead inspections, risk assessments and permit-to-work systems.
- Manage incidents, investigations and corrective actions.
- Lead safety committees and health surveillance programs.
- Develop emergency plans and conduct drills.
- Oversee environmental compliance and reporting.
- Supervise, develop and motivate the EHS team.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in OSH, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
- 5-8 years' EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial operations, with 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of OSH Act Cap 231 (as amended 2025) and National Environment Act Cap 181.
- Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, EHS training and compliance reporting.
- NEBOSH/IOSH or relevant certifications is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driving permit and willing to travel across sites.
