• Payment Structure: 50% on Inception Report, 50% on final deliverables

IOM invites candidates for a Graphic Design Consultancy under the BRMM 2026-2027 project. The consultancy aims to produce high-quality, user-friendly orientation and Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials for migrant workers. The consultant will ensure orientation tools are effective, standardized, and impactful for individuals with various levels of literacy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Deliverable 1: Inception Report (Due 25th September 2026)

• Outline the consultancy methodology, workplan, material inventory, design approach, digitization strategy, validation framework, quality assurance measures, and timelines for delivery of all MWSC, PEO, PAO and PRO products

Deliverable 2: Digitized IEC Materials for MWSC and Redesigned PEO Handbook (Due 18th November 2026)

• Update, redesign, and digitize priority print-based MWSC IEC materials (flyers, posters, brochures, banners and related products) into accessible and user-friendly digital formats
• Redesign the existing PEO Handbook in line with BRMM branding and IOM publication guidelines
• Develop and design infographics and illustrations for the PEO and MWSC including available services, referral pathways, migration pathways, workers' rights and responsibilities

Deliverable 3: Validated and Finalized PAO and PRO Training Materials Package (Due 12th January 2026)

• Design, refine and finalize PAO and PRO Facilitator Guides and Participant Handbooks, infographics and visual learning products
• Support stakeholder validation processes and incorporate feedback into all products
• Develop visual materials and presentations for validation workshops and programme dissemination

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Art and Design, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in graphic design with UN agencies, international NGOs, or local NGOs, in both humanitarian and development contexts
• Demonstrated experience in designing training materials, toolkits, and handbooks
• Strong practical background in using design software and technologies (Adobe Design Premium, In-Design, Illustrator, CorelDraw, Dreamweaver, etc.)
• Proven experience in developing digital IEC products, including interactive PDFs, e-learning modules, digital toolkits, mobile-friendly content, multimedia resources, and other accessible formats
• Demonstrated experience adapting, digitizing, and transforming print-based IEC materials into user-friendly digital formats
• Proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes (offset and digital) and colour management
• Familiarity with Migration, protection, or community-based programming (preferred)
• Experience aligning with IOM or UN branding standards (advantage)
• Fluency in English
