Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of potential investment opportunities.
- Perform in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and strategic investment areas within the financial sector.
- Evaluate financial statements, market data, and economic indicators to support investment decisions.
- Develop and deliver actionable investment recommendations based on thorough analysis.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and performance reviews.
- Provide clients with clear, insightful explanations of portfolio performance and market developments.
- Oversee assets under management across diverse investment products.
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal benchmarks.
- Support risk assessment and compliance monitoring within the investment portfolio.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual research and performance reports for all funds under management.
- Provide clear, data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making by management and clients.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio management or financial research.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of investment markets and financial instruments.
- High attention to detail and report-writing ability.
- Progress toward a professional qualification (e.g. CFA) is an added advantage.
