Home of Friends is looking for a Lead Chef & Kitchen Team Leader to join its team in the highlands of Mount Elgon, Kapchorwa, Uganda. The role combines strong hands-on cooking with kitchen leadership to create healthy, memorable food experiences for guests at the guesthouse restaurant. The ideal candidate combines culinary skills with leadership potential, creativity and a genuine sense of responsibility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen team and daily kitchen operations
• Prepare and oversee healthy, creative and memorable meals for guests
• Mentor and support kitchen staff development and help others grow
• Ensure food quality, hygiene and consistency
• Contribute to menu development using local and seasonal produce
