Job Details
KURA Asset Managers is seeking a Marketing Officer based in Kampala, Uganda. This is a full-time position responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, generate qualified leads, support business growth, and promote the Company's investment products and services. The role combines strategic marketing, digital communications, client engagement, and market research to position Kura as a trusted investment and wealth management partner. Work Hours: 8 hours. Base Salary: Not Disclosed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Company's annual marketing plan and execute campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate investor leads
- Coordinate marketing activities across digital and traditional media and monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure consistency of the Company's brand across all communication channels and maintain and update corporate marketing materials
- Manage branding for company events, exhibitions, and corporate functions and protect and strengthen the Company's corporate image
- Manage the Company's website content and ensure information remains current
- Manage social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and other relevant channels
- Develop engaging digital content including graphics, videos, newsletters, blogs, and investment updates and coordinate email marketing campaigns
- Monitor website and social media analytics
- Prepare brochures, investment guides, newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials and develop articles highlighting investment opportunities, financial literacy, and market insights
- Work closely with investment professionals to simplify technical investment information into client-friendly content
- Develop initiatives to generate quality investor and institutional leads and support the sales pipeline through targeted campaigns
- Coordinate follow-up activities with the business development team and monitor lead conversion metrics
- Support investor education initiatives, coordinate client appreciation events, and organize webinars, seminars, and investment forums
- Conduct research on competitors, industry developments, and market trends and prepare periodic market intelligence reports
- Coordinate media engagements, draft press releases and corporate announcements, and build relationships with media houses and industry stakeholders
- Coordinate corporate events, investment seminars, networking events, sponsorship activities, and exhibition participation
- Assist in preparing the annual marketing budget, monitor expenditure against approved budgets, and ensure cost-effective utilization of marketing resources
- Ensure all marketing materials comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal approval processes and coordinate with Compliance before publication where required
- Submit all marketing communications and press releases to the CEO's Office for review and approval prior to publication
- Prepare monthly marketing performance reports and report on campaign effectiveness and return on investment (ROI)
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, preferably within financial services, banking, investment management, insurance or fintech
- Experience in digital marketing and social media management
- Proficiency in content creation and marketing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
