Kinyara Sugar Limited invites applications from both female and male candidates for Apprenticeship training, leading to the prestigious City & Guilds Diploma qualification in Plant Maintenance and Commissioning.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in the full 3.5-year apprenticeship program in Plant Maintenance and Commissioning.
• Learn and apply practical plant maintenance, installation and commissioning techniques in an industrial sugar manufacturing environment.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards and procedures at all times.
• Complete both on-the-job and off-the-job training components as required by the City & Guilds curriculum.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors during the training period.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Must have sat O-Level (Senior 4) NOT MORE THAN THREE YEARS AGO at the time of applying.
• Must have obtained a minimum of C passes (Credit) in English Language, Mathematics, and Physics or Technical Drawing.
• Must have obtained at least 1 (one) Principal pass in any of the following at A-Level: Technical Drawing, Mathematics, and/or Physics.
• Must be NOT MORE THAN 22 YEARS at the time of applying.
• Candidates who have Certificate or Diploma qualifications in any Engineering trade should NOT apply.
• Willingness to commit to a 3.5-year apprenticeship program.
