Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair water supply systems, drainage, sewage, water heaters and pumps.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and plumbing schematics.
- Troubleshoot and locate leaks, unblock drainage and fix broken valves or pipes quickly.
- Observe occupational health and safety (OHS) rules and procedures in all plumbing works.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Minimum qualification: National Certificate in Plumbing (NCPL) – Level 1 & 2.
- 2 years of practical, hands-on experience in commercial or industrial maintenance.
- Prior experience working in busy environments such as hotels or hospitals.
- Technical knowledge of water supply systems, drainage, sewage, water heaters and pumps.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings and plumbing schematics.
- Basic understanding of occupational health and safety (OHS) rules and procedures.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
