Vashi Impact Group (VIG) is looking for a highly organised, resourceful and commercially minded Project Coordinator to support effective delivery of research, evaluation and consultancy projects in Uganda. The role is full-time and based in Uganda, supporting coordination of researchers, consultants, enumerators and field teams and liaising with government agencies and institutional stakeholders. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support effective delivery of research, evaluation and consultancy projects in Uganda, ensuring quality, timelines and commercial viability.
  • Coordinate researchers, consultants, enumerators and field teams including scheduling, logistics and day-to-day follow-up.
  • Liaise with government agencies and institutional stakeholders to facilitate project implementation and approvals.
  • Manage project administration, logistics and organizational tasks and maintain project documentation.
  • Support data collection oversight, quality assurance and reporting.
  • Provide strong communication, negotiation, follow-up and problem-solving across project activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years' relevant professional experience in project coordination, research, consulting or development programmes.
  • Experience coordinating researchers, consultants, enumerators or field teams.
  • Experience working with government agencies and institutional stakeholders.
  • Strong project administration, logistics and organisational skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, follow-up and problem-solving skills.
