Project Officer

GreeNew Eco Innovations is seeking a Project Officer for a part-time, project-based engagement based in Uganda. The role coordinates daily workshop production activities, manages procurement and inventory, supervises production workers and ensures quality and safety standards. Tasks and hours will vary based on project needs and milestones. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Location: Uganda. Employment type: Part-time / Project-based.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities at the workshop
• Manage purchases of raw materials, tools, and equipment
• Supervise production workers and ensure safety standards are followed
• Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels
• Ensure quality control of products
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports
• Liaise with suppliers, workshop partner, and other stakeholders
• Support delivery logistics when products are ready for clients

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in production, manufacturing, or project coordination is an advantage
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Basic knowledge of Excel and record keeping
• Honest, reliable, and solution-oriented
