Apeiron Consultancy Ltd is recruiting a QC Analyst – Chemist (HPLC) for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company. The role performs analytical testing using specialized instrumentation to support product release and quality control decisions. Duty station is Kampala, Uganda. Employment Type: Full-time. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to support product release and quality control decisions.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate HPLC systems for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Test raw materials, in-process controls, intermediates, and finished products in support of cGMP manufacturing operations.
• Prepare standards, reagents, mobile phases, and laboratory solutions.
• Identify out-of-specification (OOS) results and assist in their investigation.
• Assist in maintaining the lab in a state of compliance by performing calibration checks and performance verifications of laboratory equipment.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Level of Education: bachelor degree).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in analytical testing, preferably in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting and calibrating HPLC systems.
• Knowledge of cGMP, laboratory compliance and data integrity principles.
• Ability to prepare laboratory solutions and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis.
