Job Details
NovaCare Medical Hub is hiring a Quality Officer to strengthen its laboratory quality management system at its Mbarara facility. The role is based at Plot 2A, 2nd Hospital Close, TASO Village | Mbarara City | Mbarara and reports within the laboratory quality function. This is a Full-time position with Work Hours: 8 per day. The successful candidate will oversee and maintain compliance with ISO 15189:2022, support laboratory accreditation processes and External Quality Assessment (EQA) schemes, and ensure consistent delivery of accurate, reliable laboratory services in line with NovaCare's mission of Health Beyond Limits.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Masters degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) from a recognized institution (postgraduate degree required)
- Valid practicing license/registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC)
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a clinical laboratory setting (minimum 24 months required)
- Working knowledge of ISO 15189:2022 quality management systems
- Experience with laboratory accreditation processes and EQA schemes
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and quality compliance
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Mbarara
