Job Details

Acculife Pharma is hiring a Regulatory Affairs Officer based in Uganda (Kampala) on a Full Time basis. The officer will support the company's regulatory compliance as an importer and distributor of pharmaceutical products, ensuring all documentation and submissions meet National Drug Authority (NDA) and PSU requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role at the Kampala head office. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. The position is open to Ugandan nationals only.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage pharmaceutical regulatory processes and documentation for imported and distributed products
  • Ensure compliance with National Drug Authority (NDA) regulations and licensing requirements (NDA/PRE/WHP/6872)
  • Prepare, compile and submit dossiers and applications to NDA and other regulatory bodies
  • Maintain accurate regulatory records, files and databases and ensure timely renewals and submissions
  • Liaise with internal departments (procurement, business development, logistics, quality) and external regulators
  • Monitor changes in pharmaceutical regulations and advise management on compliance implications
  • Meet strict timelines for submissions and regulatory approvals

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (Registered with Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda - PSU) — Mandatory
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory processes and documentation
  • Good organizational and record management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet timelines
  • Computer proficiency is required
  • MUST BE A UGANDAN
