Job Details

Norvik Hospital Ltd is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented and highly motivated Sales & Outreach Officer to join its team in Kampala, Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the hospital's services, developing referral networks, engaging clients and corporate partners, and contributing to growth in patient volumes and revenue.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and outreach strategies to promote hospital services.
• Identify and develop relationships with corporate organizations, insurance companies, schools, community groups and other potential clients.
• Conduct regular outreach visits, presentations and promotional activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, referral partners, companies and other stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads for hospital services.
• Follow up on leads, referrals and prospective clients to convert opportunities into business.
• Promote the hospital's services, packages, health camps and other initiatives.
• Coordinate and participate in health camps, community outreaches, corporate health programmes and other promotional events.
• Collect and provide market intelligence on competitors, customer needs and emerging opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, leads, referrals and conversions.
• Prepare regular sales and outreach reports and provide recommendations for improving performance.
• Work closely with the clinical, finance, marketing and customer service teams to ensure excellent client experience.
• Achieve agreed sales, outreach, referral and revenue targets.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a medical/health-related field, or a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, with demonstrable experience in marketing, sales, business development, or client outreach.
• Experience in the healthcare, hospital, pharmaceutical, insurance or medical services sector will be an added advantage.
• Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships and convert opportunities into business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong networking and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Must be willing to travel for outreach activities and client visits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.
