Security Supervisor

Innovation Village Group is hiring a Security Supervisor for UTCL located along the Kampala-Jinja highway near Lugazi Municipal Council in Buikwe District, approximately 48 kilometers from Kampala City. This is a full-time role overseeing security operations at a tea production and agribusiness site.

Background: UTCL produces over 3.5 million kilos of tea annually (10% of Uganda's national output) and also deals in afforestation, coffee, cocoa, and bananas.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of security guards.
• Investigate security incidents, report risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise, schedule, and support security personnel.
• Conduct boundary inspections and report encroachments.
• Maintain secure company boundaries and security records.
• Communicate management directives and perform duties as assigned by the Security Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• 'A' level certificate with past experience in security role, preferably ex-soldier or ex-police officer.
• Ability to enforce compliance and maintain discipline.
• At least two years' experience in the same role, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and use of digital tools for monitoring.
