Job Details

• Location: Kampala, Bugolobi (with occasional field visits to rural project sites)
• Reports To: Head of Business, Solar Powered Irrigation Solutions
• Employment Type: Contract (6 months' probation with potential to extend to permanent role)
• Duty Station: Kampala - Bugolobi
• Target Level: Entry-Level / Recent Graduate
• Compensation: Fixed salary structured for an entry-level / recent graduate position plus field facilitation allowance for mobile data and field trip expenses and performance commission/bonus tied to conversions of tracked online sales leads
• Role Summary: Drive online brand awareness and lead generation by executing a dynamic social media strategy focused on promoting Solar Powered Irrigation Solutions (SPIS) within the energy and agricultural sector.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Design graphics (Canva), edit short videos (CapCut, Reels, TikTok) and publish weekly content across Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, TikTok and Instagram.
• Drive inbound inquiries through targeted digital campaigns, manage DMs/comments to convert interest into sales and log leads in Google Forms/CRM for follow-up tracking.
• Respond promptly to customer questions and share technical tips with customers.
• Conduct occasional field visits to capture real-life customer stories, photos and video clips for impact documentation.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Agribusiness or related field.
• 1-3 years' experience (internships or personal portfolios welcome).
• Practical skills in Canva, short-form video editing (CapCut/Reels) and social media scheduling.
• Fluent in English and Luganda with strong written response skills and willingness to learn solar irrigation technical specs.
• Willingness to travel periodically to rural project sites for content collection.
