Acorns International School is hiring a Teaching Assistant - Early Years based in Lubowa, Kampala. The Teaching Assistant is responsible for providing classroom support and working hand-in-hand with the Lead Teacher to deliver the curriculum and ensure that all learners get quality education. Employment Type: Full Time. Duty Station: Lubowa, Kampala. Work Hours: 8.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaching all areas of the curriculum.
- Preparing the classroom for lessons.
- Classroom display and submission of paperwork.
- Working one-on-one or with small groups of students.
- Professional development and collaborative planning.
- Helping on school outings or at school events.
- Reporting and liaison with parents/guardians.
- Assessment and report writing.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or any related field (Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education is an added advantage).
- Experience working with children.
- Relevant teaching experience.
- Experience in an international school is an added advantage.
