User Interface Designer
Stanbic Bank Uganda is hiring a User Interface Designer to provide support to the user interface team and contribute to the delivery of a seamless interface design by understanding product requirements, prototyping and testing the interface design. The role requires adherence to IT Experience Design data policies in line with Standard Bank Group (SBG) data standards so that quality data is consistently and appropriately stored, used and managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Action changes to products in line with Business Lines / Corporate Functions specifications so the product serves the business need more effectively.
- Align UI design to the standards and methodologies employed by SBG, ensuring all UI designs are consistent with the design toolbox.
- Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with team members and stakeholders for the exchange of information.
- Develop design solutions as part of a wider team through a solid understanding of device and ecosystem platforms to assure good customer experience, utilising various design and research methods to understand customer needs, friction points and decision-making processes.
- Discuss user needs with clients and collaborate with the wider experience design team to contribute to user-centric, business-aligned solutions.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and enhance experience design skills to meet evolving customer needs.
- Understand and design the digital experience to refine the end product and achieve maximum user adoption, including conducting market research and analysing data to inform customer insights and journeys.
