St. Ambrose Charity Hospital - Kagadi is a private not-for-profit hospital and NGO registered with the Ministry of Health in Uganda, operating since 2nd June 2003 (P.O. Box 164 Kagadi). Its mission is to combine efforts to save lives through charitable provision of sufficient, efficient and affordable medical care, with a vision to be a leading charitable health service provider in Uganda. The hospital is part of St. Ambrose Facilities alongside St. Ambrose Institute of Health Sciences - a private not-for-profit institute that trains compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals (nurses, midwives) to address the shortage of health personnel in Uganda and beyond. The hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, maternity, theatre, laboratory, radiology, ART clinic and immunisation services via dedicated wards (St. Alex and St. Margaret) and works hand-in-hand with government and NGO partners.
